Below states important, healthy and effective ways we can prime our body and mind in order to gain and activate the BOOTED state of mind.
Health & Fitness: People that train/workout on a consistent basis and couple it with a healthy lifestyle are exponentially more fit physically and mentally to channel the BOOTED state compared to the majority of people that don't. By removing the brain-fog, bloating/inflammation, constant insulin spikes, indigestion, junk food cravings, low-energy levels, malnourishment, fatigue, illness, obesity, (i mean the list goes on and on) commonly associated with an unhealthy lifestyle, you can bet you're automatically in a superior position to perform better than most.
The upsides are obviously the opposite of what is listed above. Clear cognitive brain function, smooth digestion, quality sleep, steady insulin, high energy throughout the day, properly satiated so no need for cravings, increased vitality, resistant to illness and many more to list on a mental and physical level.
Constant Learning: Everyday, allocating at least an hour to learning something that refines your knowledge and skill particularly relevant to your life's current endeavors. This is the "working out" of the mind. Learning creates new neural pathways in the brain; the same thing happens when you experience something new. This sharpens your mind and increases your understanding and perception of the world an how to maneuver in it.
The more you know, the more opportunities become available to you that weren't before. Learning random facts/things are cool, but it's strategically better to learn up on subjects that can aid you, your lifestyle and work. Simply put, learn things that are relevant and useful that can be implemented into increasing your quality of life.
Organization/Planning: From the long term down to the daily schedule, planning is the prerequisite to execution. As famously said: Fail to plan, plan to fail. Set goals, then figure out what steps will need to be taken in order to make said goal happen. Then list it down in order. (Detailed to the T) Now split those steps up into your day, by the day. Once you've written these steps down and compartmentalized the tasks into organized days, you now have a schedule and an assignment and know what needs to be done.
You've done the first half, now it's about action and execution.
**Pro Tip: Writing your blueprint in detail on paper or a spreadsheet materializes your plan and helps you see the path clearly instead of having it vaguely floating around in your mind in pieces. Be organized.
Taking Action/Execution: Prioritize your daily checklist based on level of urgency/importance. Get the main tasks completed first, then handle the remainder of the day's checklist. Be adaptable. Naturally, not everything is going to go in order to plan. You'll have to pivot and re-strategize more often than not, but that and determination is what separates the winners from the losers. Take it day by day. as long as we are doing what needs to be done and truly giving it our all, overtime the days will compound into long term results.
Be present in the now and do your absolute best, everyday.
